Circular Team

“A single thread can snap. A woven community changes history.”

Cloket doesn’t operate on a traditional corporate grid; we thrive within a circle.

Our dream team is an uncompromised alliance of visionary designers, indigenous master artisans, tribal community leaders, and independent artists. We form an ecosystem where ancestral wisdom, modern utility, and cultural sovereignty are protected by every hand involved.

The Visionaries & Facilitators

Meet the catalysts driving Cloket’s vision forward. Our role is to act as mindful facilitators—blending strategic innovation with profound cultural reverence to ensure that the sacred traditions of Northeast India are honored, sustained, and seamlessly integrated into your everyday life.

Founder & Director

Ashadeep Baruah

Grounded in a background in Economics and driven by a deep commitment to climate action, Ashadeep founded Cloket to serve as a bridge between two worlds. For her, travel is not merely movement; it is an active field study in cultural resilience. By spending time on the ground documenting the fading narratives and ancestral wisdom of diverse tribal communities, she shapes Cloket’s creative and strategic vision.

Leveraging her expertise in marketing and social entrepreneurship, Ashadeep channels her passion for cinematic storytelling and digital advocacy to amplify the voices of indigenous artisans. Her work ensures that ancient visual languages are not lost to time, but are celebrated daily as functional lifestyle utilities in modern homes.

fashion Designer & COMMUNITY LEADER

Divya K Marak

A graduate of the prestigious NIFT Mumbai, Divya chose to channel her design expertise away from mass fashion capitals and back into the heartbeat of her roots. Returning to her hometown of Tura, she now leads a dedicated group of indigenous artisans, acting as both a creative compass and a fierce community advocate. Her work is a masterful bridge, blending contemporary silhouette design with the intricate, traditional weaving languages of the region.

As a grassroots mobilizer, Divya works directly on the ground to preserve the visual identity of her community while providing sustainable, ethical livelihoods for local craftspeople. By transforming ancestral methods into modern, functional daily art, she ensures that the pride, resilience, and living heritage of Tura are celebrated on a global canvas.

Social Activist & Community leader

Sourav Patgiri

A dedicated social activist and fierce defender of indigenous rights, Sourav has spent years working tirelessly on the frontlines for the people and ecosystems of Greater Kaziranga. He deeply believes that Kaziranga should not just be known for its wildlife, but celebrated for the indigenous communities who have coexisted with and protected that wildlife for generations. For him, ecological conservation and cultural sovereignty are completely inseparable.

Channeling this commitment to regional resilience, Sourav works directly on the ground to promote, mobilize, and create sustainable livelihood opportunities through the intricate handloom traditions of the Mising tribe.
